Improved security, functionality, and performance are the key features offered with the Premium Desktop.

The Overview documents describe the Premium Desktop Service, who may participate and how, minimum hardware requirements, and the policies governing use of the service.

Planning documents are included to assist department heads and LSPs in evaluating the Premium Desktop Service as a possible desktop solution for a department as well as the specific steps to follow in order to make for a smooth and seamless migration to the Premium Desktop.

When the Premium Desktop is installed on departmental computers, the Getting Started documents will assist staff and faculty in becoming familiar with the new configuration on their desktops.

Reference documents are provided specifically for Local Support Partners as additional tools for planning, preparation, and execution of the migration process.

Help is readily at hand for Premium Desktop customers. Assistance with problems as well as training, demos and orientations may be arranged.

Download will allow you to download the Premium Desktop images for NT4, Windows 2000, or Windows XP if you are affiliated with the University.
